You don’t need to go to a “sports clinic” to get a sports massage – we got you!

We may be busy RMTs hustling at work but we’re also a collective of active runners, hikers, cyclists, skiers and snowboarders ourselves. We’ve all had our fair share of sports related injuries over the years and know the value of how having a sports massage therapist can be excellent for maintenance + recovery.

  • We work with you by listening intently to your fitness goals and creating treatment plans that optimize your performance, keeping you fine tuned and ready to play

  • As your RMTs, we are happy to work in alignment with other healthcare practitioners such as Physiotherapists and Chiropractors, making sure our focus is providing the best client care as part of a healthcare team of professionals

  • Our sports focused massages are tailored for results, with a healthy dose of relaxation and flow cleverly worked in between for an overall enjoyable experience

get ready, set and GO!

Moving our bodies and pushing our physical limits can be incredibly exhilarating! The more we move, the further we can go as we actively build strength and endurance.

When we become increasingly active and start to reach new heights, it’s important to tend to those hard working muscles and joints with a care routine to stay balanced and in the game – not out with injury.

Massage therapy helps to break down that sneaky tension which can potentially lead to a nasty strain. Massage also replenishes muscular tissue by increasing blood circulation with the bonus effect of decreasing soreness and helping prevent unwanted injury.

  • Massage therapy doesn’t just focus on one sore spot—it treats your whole body. That way, we can work on multiple areas in a single session, including tight muscles, muscle imbalances, and posture issues that might be affecting how you move.

By releasing tightness and improving your range of motion and blood flow, massage helps get your body ready for tougher workouts and more dynamic movements. You’ll feel more flexible, balanced, and ready to perform at your best.

  • It really depends on what your body needs. Massage therapy is great for helping with muscle tension, stress relief, and those stubborn tight spots that might be holding you back. It’s also awesome for general maintenance to keep your body feeling good and moving well.

If you’re dealing with something more complex, like an injury that needs a detailed assessment, joint issues, or something that affects how you move, physiotherapy or chiropractic care might be the way to go. They can dig deeper into the root cause and create a specific treatment plan to get you back on track.

The best part is these therapies often work best together. Massage therapy can be a perfect complement to physio or chiro by helping your muscles stay relaxed and ready to support your recovery.

  • If you just had a deep tissue sports massage, it’s best to take it easy for the rest of the day to get the most out of your treatment. That said, we know you’re probably eager to get back to your activities. Light movement is totally fine, but try to take it slower than usual and avoid pushing yourself too hard. Listen to your body and stay within your limits so you can keep feeling your best.

We also offer pre-event massages designed to prepare your body for a specific activity or sport. Different treatments can be tailored depending on your goals—whether it’s recovery, injury prevention, or performance boost.
